Rehabilitation Center

On Sunday, April 26th, I went to the front porch where Lorraine was watching the birds and squirrels, and told her lunch was ready. I then went back to the kitchen. Duane and I heard a loud noise. We both ran to the porch. She was inside the front door laying on the wood floor. We asked her if she was okay. She said, I think I broke my hip. We then asked what happened and she said, I don't know, one minute I was standing the next minute I was on the floor. She was laying on her right. We tried to lift her, she screamed, so I got her a pillow and told her to just lay still. After a few minutes we tried again to lift her and she said, it hurts, put me back down. I told her I need to call for the paramedics to help us. When they did what they had to do to get her on the gurney, she screamed again. The x-ray showed she broke her right hip. They put her in traction and did a partial hip replacement the next evening. While at Wuesthoff we also noticed she had a black eye from her glasses, a bruse on her right ring finger, and a sprain on her right wrist.
