Hurricane Matthew

Lorraine and her friends at Solaris Healthcenter were evacuated on Tuesday to a facility in St. Cloud, Florida. I'm sure Lorraine is working hard to keep all the residents calm during this storm.

Duane and I left on Friday to go to NC to spread my mothers ashes on the Blue Ridge Parkway and turned around on Tuesday to come back and secure our 2 homes, thank goodness we were still in GA.

My family and pets will be heading to a building that was built as a military bunker in 1939. It is now used as the main office for the Florida Historical Society. We will be in the basement with about 4 other families.
